Hunting Report - Tim and Marit Doucet

I had been looking for an elephant hunt for many years, interviewing potential PHs and getting cost estimates. I had received the Auction Guide from the THCC and knew that Kobus Hannibal, owner, and head PH of Africa Thirstland Safaris, based in Windhoek Namibia had donated the elephant hunt to the THCC. After speaking with Kobus in Reno and having several friends in the chapter, we decided to go and .... I won!

Local 4H boys participate in Indian Head Ranch Apprentice Camp

On Sunday, June 19, 2011, 5 teenage boys from the Kerr County 4-H Club embarked on an amazing opportunity that they will remember for a lifetime and tagging along was a chaperone that also accumulated lifelong memories to share. The Texas Hill Country Chapter of Safari Club International sponsored them to participate in the week long Indian Head Ranch Apprentice Camp in Del Rio, TX.
